I just happened to be bored on a friday night and decided id search for posts on the board when i came upon interesting topic of hammerite paint etc. 5 years ago i painted my trailer my uncle and few people told me oh no you have to use special stuff to paint galvanized!!! I was like why bother i got this can of latex paint that was left over from painting my home and decided to brush it on the trailer ( It had no rust). Well 5 years later after fresh and salt water use the paint is still intact except on the fender wells where i would step up to get into boat otherwise no peeling!! Anyone else ever try something like this and get similar/ bad results?
