did the full tuneup, took the boat out yesterday to the lake. Water was peeing hot all morning, after about 2 hours of running I reached back to check the water temp again and it was cold. I changed the water pump and thermostat, the impeller didn't have any chunks missing and there was very little corrosion inside the lower unit. I'm just wondering if there was something inside the tubes and it blew out, could it have went through the tubes and out the prop? or do I have to take it in and have it taken apart to find out what it was? I have to be very careful, one of the places I fish is really dangerous, if I break down I crash into the rocks.....Thanks in advance for any help........

Could have been a sticky thermostat.Take it out again (to a safe place) & try it again :) Or it could have been a slight blockage that has cleared.Does your engine have a poppet valve? It could be sticking as well..
