Diagram for mecury force fuel pump

rebuilding fuel pump no. 98766-c1 my old pump has 1 flexible clear disk on each side (inside the pump)the rebuild kit has 2 black and 2 white disk should the pump have 2 disk on each side or 1 on each side if it has 2 which one first i have no diagram and thought i could just rebuild by seeing where the parts were guess not could someone post a diagram for me first time 2 post hope i did it right thank you

Just to clearify. You either have a Mercury or a Force. They are not the same engines. If it is a Force, then there is a Force/Chrysler forum

I have a 1997 50hp force by mercury Chrysler sold the force name years ago thank you for your reply

Yes, that's very true.

It's still a Force engine so you should post your question in the Force/Chrysler section.

Chrysler sold it to Bayliner along with the engine blocks (Which are STILL the old Chrylser). All Mercury Marine did was update it so they would run better.

I don't understand why people thing that because it says "By Mercury Marine" that it is magically a Mercury outboard. If you look at an actual Mercury or Mariner (Like in my avatar) you will notice that Mercury is ALL that is printed on the cowling.

The Force is nothing more than a Force that was built by Mercury Marine.
