After reading all the posts for water pressure gauge mounting on a V4 Looper...I am still stumped...
My 94 has no water control valve, but it also has no water tap on the adapter plate behind the throttle linkage as mentioned in many posts...currently it is attached at a tee on the line going to the tell tale from a port on the top of the port cylinder.
The only port that I can find is near the rear of the adapter plate and it appears to have a 1/8" plug in it at the present time...see pic...is this where the pressrue gauge needs to be installed?
Secondly, what are the ports at the rear of the engine in the second pic? Water pressure relief? Is this where water exits the block when the thermostats open? The ports appear to have exhaust residue inside?
Thanks...
