There are quite a few members that are from Fort Worth here. Maybe we could set up a date where we can get together and do some fishing on one of the fine local lakes. I'd be up for it, and would like very much to meet some fellow iboaters. If anyone is interested, just email me at the address in my signature line.

Actually I fished Denton creek out of Grapevine a couple times back in the spring but haven't really been out on the lake.

I can say I was planning on avoiding Lewisville on the weekends until the weather cools, except maybe if you go out at the crack 'o dawn & come in before lunchtime. Ray Hubbard, Joe Pool, about the same. We can probably count on that for any of the metromess lakes. My opinion, lets just do it anyway. School just started, maybe that thins the crowd a little.

Sundays are alright with me as long as I can get advance notice. Joe Pool is about 10 mins from my house :D

Not your usual fishing hole but I really like Mineral Wells State Park Lake.

No skiing, PWCs, swimming, high speeds. Just fishing and low speed recreational boating. Said to be an excellent crappie and bass lake. Some big cats, too.

On a Sunday most of the other lakes are crowded and rowdy. Bridgeport is reputed to be a good fishing hole, too.
