I have just changed impeller on my DF 9.9 2003 Zuki, and run it on the hose for the first time. I noticed that a lot of water was coming from the two holes in front part of drive shaft housing (marked by green arrows in the picture). Is it normal? I thought it is supposed to come out of the exhaust hole (red arrow in the picture). Telltale stream is very good, and there are no signs of overheating.
Did I do something wrong, or the new impeller made the increased amount of the exhaust water more noticeable?
