Since you are the shadywood and I'm working an off shift tonight and have nothing to do. I was wondering if a bicyle generator would work as a charging system on a boat. You know one of those that rubs and runs against the tire and powers the bike lights. It would not be hard to make a bracket, but was wondering if it would produce enough power to charge or keep a battery charged and would it require a regulator?

Good question?

Let me think on this one a minute....Still don't know, but I bet you could do it with a small altinater from a car and some ten or twelve speed bicycle gears.

I am not familar with the bike generators....I have heard of them but never seen one.

I think if I did see one my shifty side might interact with my shady side and cause me to knock the old duffer of his beach cruiser and swipe the little bugger off and take it home for further study.

Getting one from a Flea Market might keep me out of jail though....With my luck he'd be an X-mobster with nothing to do and a couple of extra bags of concreate sitting around....Papa needs a new pair of shoes baby.

See....now ya got my shady all ruffled up....and I'm going to bed now....Now I'll be dreamen of car and bike parts and how to attach them to my boat's trolling system!

Sweetdreams.

Snoozenwood.

Snoozewood go back to sleep, did not mean to awaken shiftywood. Ain't going to mess with no mob.

Sloopy I think the concrete shoes are for walking under water, most cases you are already dead when they put them on you.
