Which transducer is the best to have? Transom mounted, Through hull or in hull mounted. Also, which is easiest to mount?

Depends on the boat, personal preference, and access. Those who use walleye or bass boats usually have two. One on the transom and one on the trolling motor. People that don't want stuff on the transom opt for through hull or shoot-through-hull types. If you have no access to the hull, transom mount is an option. In my view, the easiest to mount is at the transom.

Transom mount is pretty easy. And allows water temp display if if your transducer has the sensor. It can get knocked off though.

In-hull (shoot-through-hull) you have to find a place that is in the water while the boat's on plane, where it's just a layer of fiberglass - other materials (or air gaps) will block the signal. Once you get it glued down its no problem.

Through-hull is a hole in your bottom...I'm sure there are applications where that's best...I just don't know what they are.
