Your engine ignition system was designed around Champion spark plugs. Even though cross reference books show an equivalent, those two plugs cannot possibly have identical electrical and heat characteristics. Why tempt fate? If the engine doesn't run right with Champions, get the engine fixed. running Denso's won't change that.
