Denso I C M

been searching for a ignition control module,found several on ebay ranging from 89.95 to 460.00. every module I see has a blue sticker on top with Denso 131800-7071. there described for 4.3 engines up to 5.7 engines.
what I have noticed is every module I enlarge and can read states 131800-7071 listed for a 4.3 the next one for a 5.0 is 131800-7071 and a 5.7 is 131800-7071. but I noticed all have different quicksilver part numbers. Is this a module racket or am I the only fruity pebble in the box. someone chime in and let me know what you think

oh and by the way i found a module " make offer" on ebay,well i offered 30.00 plus 8.00 shipping description as new and yes Denso 131800-7071.
offer was accepted, should be in my hands tomorrow after mail run. keep everyone updated on status as what it should fit compared to what it does fit.

I too am looking for a Denso 131800 7071, the Denso part number on my Mercruiser Part 861251T-1 for a Alpha V6. Did you ever find out if all the different Mercruiser numbers for this Denso part are really the same?

You need to start a new thread of your own pathfinder.
Not many people around here know things by manufacturers part number. perhaps you could start a thread of your own and give some engine info and what this part is and does and you might get some help.
