Hello readers, new member here, need a little help. 4.3 mercruiser. just installed new delco voyager ign. no instructions came with it. spoke to someone at e basic and gave me some basic info. cable in to coil hooked up purple to ign, grey to tach. out plug goes to distributer self explanatory only fits one place. Timeing tool has white jumper and black wire that I hooked to 12v. set timeing @ 8 BTC. removed timeing tool and installed other plug in its place. Only has one wire comeing out which I hooked to green and white from shift interupter. Engine lights better then ever before. Heres the problem; No shift interrupt. removed shift interupt wire and touched directly to ground with engine running didnt even stumble. Do I now have to power shift interrupt where as it was simply a ground before? Stumped. Thanks.
