Degreasing engine

I have an oil leak somewhere where the VRO line goes to the engine. I got the lower engine covers off and there is way too much oil/grease for me to see where it is coming from. I am going to order new oil lines and want to clean the engine area before I assembly everything back. Looking for suggestions of a degreaser that I can spray around the engine compartment.

I use Superclean, Walmart carries it. Way better than any other degreaser I've ever used. It works on just about everything without ruining it too.

Good old Wallyworld. Thanks.
Here is another question for you or anyone else. I want to change the oil lines but I don't know the hose i.d. size. The premade ones are no longer available on BRP or any other site I have searched.

Oh yes Super Clean or Purple Power. Either works well. Just spray it on, let is sit for a few minutes and hose it off. If there are areas that are really caked up with grease and dirt, use a little chip brush to help out. JMHO!

I have used the purple power with good results and also simple green with good results. If I may add, be sure you do this at home so NO degreaser gets into any waterway, river etc. The EPA will hang you out to dry, so in the home driveway is usually safe.

Looks like Marine engine dot com has most of those preformed hoses available for order. Everywhere else shows them NLA.

Can't put the link in here at the forum so copy out the text below and search it in google. The 2nd result on my search is the correct diagram and parts list.

I've never had much luck with Gunk for engine degreasing but I found one if their products I really like. After you get everything cleaned up nice and pretty, hose the motor down with engine protector. I've not used it on my outboard yet but I have on my cars and inboard, it's a nice detailing touch that even smells good!

GoJo hand cleaner with an old tooth brush works wonders on the tight spaces that are gunked up.
