Hello! I have an Evinrude outboard and I want to know if you can tell me exactly how to break down the serial number to get all the details I need.
Model: E25TELCOS
Serial: E0521781
If you can help me with this part, I can then make another post here asking for some help. I have taken a couple jpeg pictures showing the exact difficulties I'm having with raising and lowering the motor manually.
Can I send, or attach, a picture or two and send them to you for your scrutiny?

I have a couple jpeg pictures I would like to insert, or attach. Can I do this? The picture shows my problem with the motor very clearly. Maybe someone can tell me exactly what to do then. Please advise me if this can be done.

The pic has to be under a certain size. you may need to use a site called photobucket.com, it is free, then you can post your pics on here.

Mailing it is not a problem, but first do you see the link that is in quotes in my last post? Copy it, then paste it in your explorer browser. After getting to that site, click on view parts catalogue, then top left corner it should read Evinrude, click on the GO beside it, then click on your year in the left hand column, then your hp, which is of course 25, then your model number. Then click on I believe Midsection, you can from there enlarge the diagram with the little magnifying glass icon above it with the + or 1:1 on it . Let me know if this helps.

Yes, it worked extremely well. Now have a detailed drawing which will work great for me. The only question I have now, is do you sell items like springs etc. for my repair efforts?
