I am finally going to replace the lounge seats in my 1986 19' Sea Ray BR. These Deckmate back-to-backs are very affordable, but I am not familiar with the brand.

I like that the red on these matches my interior. Most of the red in Wise seats is closer to a burgundy or maroon color. Does anyone have any experience with or thoughts on Deckmate seats?

Price almost looks too good. Once bought similar seats from Fishermens' Marine and they worked well. I looked in their catalog and they don't seem to have them anymore. West Marine has them starting for about 189 per side. Good thing is you can see and feel the quality. Great Lakes Skipper has some OEM seats but they are twice the price.

Thanks for the input CP. I have read some good stuff on deckmate on pontoon forums. I am going to pull the trigger on these Monday unless I hear something negative before then.

Besides the good price you get free shipping! Looks like a good deal to me.

I like your setup DRS. Is that a cooler with a pad on it behind the captain's chair?

Ordered them today. I will take some pics and let you know what I think when I install them.

Well, here they are installed. I had to glass in 1.5" bases to allow for where the sloped hull meets the deck (didn't want to cut the seat bases). The bases are surprisingly sturdy. The color of the seats isn't a perfect match, but it sure is close. I still need to remove the protective plastic pieces on the corners. Overall, they are not perfect, but sure seem worth the $320 and are a HUGE improvement over what I had before.

The color match is almost perfect. Looks great!

Thanks DRS. Going to go see how they handle fish blood this morning. Maybe little skiing/boarding/tubing tomorrow. We'll see how they hold up.

No problem with fish blood, scales, beer, and everything else we spilled on them. I used 303 before the trip and everything just wiped right off at the end of the day.
