Deckliner VIP bilge pump?

1997 Deckliner VIP needs a new bilge pump but I can’t find the darn thing. Is it under the engine? If so, how do I get to it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Howdy, Steve.

For some reason boat makers like to hide bilge pumps under the motor. Also depth gauge transducers.

If it's under the motor, it may have to be abandoned. you can attach a new one to an alunimum flat bar and slide it down there in it's place. If it gives issue, just slide it out. I usually fix the end sticking out to the stringer with ss screws.
