Thanks for your help guys

------------------

Re: Decarbonize or not........how?

Hey, Ray. Y'know, some guys swear by decarbing twice a season, others swear AT decarbing, ever. If one uses fuel with minimum additives (unleaded regular.... 87 octane) and the best lubricants (TCW-3 rated)and doesn't try to troll to the U.K. and back without a sprint or two, I don't think decarbing is really a good idea. The risks to engine parts, gaskets, seals, etc. seem to me to be greater than the risks of carbon over-deposit. EXCEPT!!! Anything you can do to a FORCE that might extend engine life is a good idea. I have my own opinions why, but just read the posts on this board over the past six to ten months. Draw your own conclusions. Now you know where the engineers went who were turned down by YUGO.

Did you hear about the boater who walked into Boater's World and told the sales person, "Give me a set of plugs for my FORCE 125." The salesperson replied, "Throw in ten bux and you've got a trade."
