Decarb Process for 60 hp Evinrude

73 Evinrude 60hp motor, Model NO. 60173 C. Bought a can of Seafoam carb cleaner. What is the best point of application. Should I add it to the fuel?

Hey Trout,<br />Not trying to duck your question but you can go to the search function here and spend the rest of the evening reading about "decarb". I think you can use Seafoam as a additive or do a decarb with it.<br /><br />c/6<br /><br />Hooty

Already read the search results. One of them mentioned a location on older Evinrudes for adding these chemicals. Just thought someone might know if this model did or not.

You're '73 doesn't have one. It's a Schrader Valve on the fuel priming valve.<br /><br />c/6<br /><br />Hooty
