Decals for 1990 Johnson 225 Hood

Could anyoner tell me how to get new decals foe a 1990 Johnson 225 outboard motor hood that I am repainting? Also, I have 2 spray cans of color matched OMC touch-up paint. Is this the best paint to use?<br /><br />Thanks, Barry

I'd think your best bet for decals would be through your Johnson dealer. There are a number of reproduction decals available, but I don't know it they make anything that current.<br /><br />As far as the paint goes...I'm no finish expert but if the color matches...why not? I've seen some very nice rattle can finishes on outboards.<br /><br />Walt

I see a lot of decals on Ebay, might be worth a look. I see some sellers that have just decals, you might email one of them.
