Was cruising at roughly 2k rpms and she just died and had to be towed back in? Any ideas where to start? 1994 Bayliner Capri 1950 Mercruiser 3.0 Alpha 1
Could be several things, so you need to give us more to go on. Did it die like the key was turned OFF, or start sputtering?
Do you have 12V on the + side of the coil?
Is you lanyard kill switch on the ON position?
Can you see gas squirt down the carb when the throttle is pressed?
