I have a 2003 Nissan four cylinder 30 that has sat since May due to being busy with other things. Today I started it in the yard and the bottom cylinder is dead, I have confirmed fuel into the bottom jet visually and spark through the plug, yet the cylinder is dead, Does anyone have a idea of what may cause this to be the case? TIA

Re: Dead bottom cylinder

More than likely a carbueration issue. You need only 4 things to make a cylinder fire.Fuel in the right proportion, compression, ignition at the proper time, and exhaust. If ignition output tests and compression test are satisfactory you will now have to look at how that carb is functioning.
