I have heard about pulling the plugs, putting in a light oil like Marvel Mystery oil, and letting it sit for a week.<br /><br />Then use a wrench on the pulley and turn the crank a number of times to get everything distributed.<br /><br />The reason for this is to make sure that everything is free when you try to start it. The last thing you want is to hit the starter and find something is locked up.<br /><br />I would also think of changing the oil. Pouring new oil in the top will help get everything lubricated before you try to start it up.<br /><br />Just my thoughts. I'm sure there are others out there with better ideas.
