DB35 Brake Calipers frozen. Need advice

I have a 2007 Shorelander Trailer for my Sea Ray 230 Select. I just bought boat and the previous owner never used the trailer. He kept the boat at his boat dock and never trailered it. When I looked in the master cylinder for fluid level it was empty and full of rust. I replaced the couple with all new parts, I bled the brakes and found the problem. A hose was leaking horribly and the brakes never worked. It probably came fro the factory with the bad hose. All four caliper bleed plugs were plugged up and when I finally bleed them they were full of rust. So, all four calipers are frozen and have been for several years. I do not want to replace all four calipers due to cost but would like to try and rebuild them. My owners manual states I have UFP DB35 calipers which are from a 97-2000 KIA Sephia. I am trying to find rebuild parts and need advice. I can find the seal kits but the caliper pistons are hard to find? I am sure the pistons are real rusty. Any advice on this situation would be appreciated. I do not want to spend a lot of time and effort, if I am setup for failure. I am sure someone here has been in the same situation and can give me advice on how to proceed. I am betting it will be hard to get the caliper apart based on sitting there for 4 years frozen up.

THanks,
Rob

Chassis guy said my locked-up UFP calipers (2007 trailer) could be rebuilt but results were spotty. As far gone as yours sound like they are, I wouldn't gamble. Since they can be found for ~$60 each and if you can replace them yourself, the time, trouble and aggravation combined with the cost of a rebuild that may produce unsatisfactory results probably isn't worth it.

Ditto. If the calipers are rusted up, its next to impossible to hone out all of the pits and get a decent seal. Time to buck up for new ones.
