Day three of early DST?

How is it settling with everyone?

Personally, I love it. In the not so great PNW, our evening light is truncated by the continual, pervasive cloud cover. Early DST has made the early evening hours more usable.

To be truthful, I don't get up early enough to know how it is going on the opposite end of the day.

I don't do peak traffic rush hour anymore.8)

It's dark at the time the sun was rising a few days ago. I think they should have waited until equinox.

I love it! I don't usually get up until around 12:30, so it's nice having more than 5 hours of daylight! 8)

Well it's making things a little weird with International contacts. They're not on etc. Funny thing is Western Australia decided to try out DST for the first time this year on a trial basis. They decided one week before flipping the switch . . . Oh and just for fun, South Australia is a 1/2 hour later than the East, 1 1/2 in front of the West. Call it half a time zone . . . :=

At home I like it for kids sports etc.

more time to fish in the afternoon after work. I get off at 4-5 oclock alternating days. My house is 4 miles from work, the launch is 2 miles the other way. That is not a Coincidence...

Yeah, ain't that the truth! It seems like every year that goes by, my inner clock struggles more to adjust.

Re: Day three of early DST?

I seem to have so much trouble keeping clocks set to the correct time, I finally bought one that sets itself. Unfortunately, it is not in tune with the new DST rules, and now it's an hour off, and I have not figured out how to set the stupid thing manually.

I suppose it will be correct in a couple of weeks, and I've managed this long to deal with clocks that have been set at whatever time it was the last time the power went off, I'll survive it! Oh well, life is full of frustrations.

Does anybody really know what time it is? Does anybody really care? If so I can't imagine why. We've all got time enough to cry.

Arizona doesn't use it. At least I don't have to change all my clocks.8)
