Re: David W is Spam!
One thing I think we all should remember is that people from all walks of life have access to a computer and the internet whether through the public library, school, friends, work or their own. Everyone is here and they are getting around.

Thats everyone including, phonies, real honest people, the unwashed and the washed. And all have different levels of experience.

With I-Boards you are dealing people on many levels. You may be a wiz on computers or internet but be new to the topic. Or a wiz on the topic and can't type or spell or just new to computers and the internet. And this goes on and on with many combinations or levels.

You also have the factor of people interacting with people; you could be great at it or a dud. And patience with people is very important too.

And there is the topic, you may know a lot or a little but you want to help so you throw in your 2 cents.

I think there are some very knowledgeable people here but the advice I get here would not be my last stop in research. I would never base my final decision from advise from any I-Board. It's just a piece of the pie.

This is a great resource but it should not be your only stop. Check out the manufacturer and news articles, other web sites to cross reference and personal friends. See the item in action at a show. And your gut level feeling based on whatever experience you have.

I really like this site and would hate to see it filled with spam and I would do anything I could to keep that from happening.

We should all remember every post is just 2 cents, one of eight slices of that great old American Apple Pie, but just one.
