Went to test the boat and fish got alate start,at 7:30 found a little school of small mouths and i mean little about 7" but it was fun fished shallow fihed deep went from the dam to the river ,I just dont understand this fish there either on the bank and i mine on the bank or there deeper than crap.Got burnt too but IT WAS GOOD DAY Somebody tell me thay caught some good ones.

Ron, only good fish all day was a 15lb flathead cat my son caught on a crankbait. Go figure. Amen on the hot part. You're right though, it was a VERY good day, sunburn and all!

Today, 4 craped out bluegill in 3 hours of fishing . Had to jump in the water to keep from killing over . Had a great afternoon.

Been real hot here too. The better fish seem to still be on deep structure. Getting a couple of decent fish deep but it has been taking all day to do it. Finding some smaller bass starting to move up a little.

Hot as all heck saturday, but my little one, 9 year old, was catching them like crazy. 15 in all for her. My other daughter & me caught 3 apiece.<br />They were little, but it sure is fun when the kid's are catching them.<br />I heard "I got a fish" so often I barely had time to open a beer.

I had to go back to the dock for extas beer, i almost dehydrated
