CV or GT? What is this boat?

I've always wanted a boat so what's a better way to start than to buy a boat sight unseen off of craigslist as a "project boat"? Before I post pictures of my divorce papers, I need help identifying this thing. I'm pretty sure it's a CV16 but I have doubts because of a faded GT on the front emblem. It's a 1971. There are "Glastron-Carlson" plates on the sides and I thought I read somewhere that Glastron Carlson didn't make the GT. Please let me know what this thing is.

Glastron-Carlson started producing boats in 1969. I think that was a 1972 GT 150 they used in the Bond film "Live and Let Die."

Welcome aboard.

No Idea what it is, but that is a very cool classic boat. That would be worth fixing up.

Don’t think it’s a gt150. Defo not a CV. I have one. It may be the quite rare GT160
