Curing Chicken liver

I saw a post in the past about curing chicken liver and really would like to hear anybodies ideas on the best way to acomplish this.

Cook the livers, then let them cool. Add garlic, butter and mayonaise, fresh taragon, thyme and a little rosemary.<br /><br />Chill, then spread on good baguettes. Serve with a good Alsatian reisling (not the sweet Calif. reislings). Mmmmm.... :cool: <br /><br />That is what you meant, right? ;)

Use them fresh and don't do anything to them they will work better. You can place a square of ***** hose over them and wrap them up in sort of a little bag then hook them on if you need to for casting. Trebble hooks work well to but personally when I use liver they are fresh and I hook them on the hook a few times then lob cast them out softly. I don't use them much because for me cut bait is more effective.
