Cumberland Island, GA

So the family will be on vacation going up the coast Thanksgiving week.
We would like to go to Cumberland Island but the State run Ferry does not allow dogs, but they are allowed on the island.
Anyone familiar with the area know about a charter that would drop us off in the am and pick up in the afternoon?
BTW the dog is 15 pounds.
Suggestions?

Are you sure you can have dogs on the island? I thought I saw some sign on the beach that said no dogs allowed?

The Park rules online say no dogs in the camping area only.

Maybe someone who lives in the area will chime in and offer you a ride. I know if I lived in the area, I certainly would. Good luck, and enjoy your vacation.
