Cuddy Cabin Maintenance

I have a Robalo 2140, I need to know how to safely get the black stains off the carpet on the walls? I don't smell mold, but I think it may be some kind of mold. We salt water fish and keep dryel in the cabin all year.

I use a steam cleaner with mild soap in it works for me.
