If anyone is out there looking for a different spot (Scenery) these are close to my house actually the pic was taken across the street tonight for another reason Okay to get back to the post This is the Housatonic river between the Derby/Shelton Dam and the Stevenson Dam Pretty famous for the Yale boat house. and Indian wells state park. The other site is Lake Zoar in Oxford / Southbury both have state launches and I Know the one at Indian Wells is free as of labor day I can check on the other. The reason I post this is in about 4 weeks the fall foliage on this river is gorgeous and to honest Lake Zoar is absolutely Breath taking. the best part the calm you see in the pic is the norm. Anyway I just thought I would give you guys a look this way and I'm sure you all have your own spots but this is mine so to speak.
