1997 Silverton 360 twin 502xli. Port motor died cruising at 3000 rpm. Got low oil pressure and high temp alarm and eng shut down. Oil pressure and temp were normal at time alarm went off and engine shut down. The alarm system, however, does not kill the engine, it is only supposed to retard to idle. Went to start and engine will turn fine but not start. Also, when the key is first turned on, the alarm normally sounds for 2-3 seconds and shuts off. Not getting any alarm with key on. Jumped coil pos wire to battery, engine started and ran fine. When I removed jumper wire, engine died. I assume this is an electrical issue and something has 12v shut off to engine. Have not started at ignition switch yet but just wondering what may be causing this? What would cause the alarm not to be sounding when ign switch turned to on position? I can read and interpret wiring diagrams and can ring wiring. But, I cannot find a diagram for this boat anywhere and was hoping for maybe a shortcut. Thank you guys in advance
