Crusader 454 heating

I have twin crusaders 454 350hp 1985 model. Have replaced manifolds, thermostats 140 degree, raw water pumps, gauges,heat exchanger,oil cooler and sending units on both motors. Port engine runs 140 up to 2000 rpm, 170 degrees any higher rpm. Starboard runs 140 degrees at any rpm. Any idea why port motor runs hotter.

Did you put a new radiator cap on the heat exchanger?

Thanks have not tried replacing cap, water level never changes much in overflow tank.

Yes replaced manifolds, risers, and elbows on both motors.
