I have an 86 carver w/ twin 350 crusaders 270hp. Went out last week no issues. Got to the boat today port motor started up no problems. Starboard motor nothing when I turned the key. The gauges moved, no clicking from the starter or any noise for that matter. I replaced the starter since it was fried. I can bypass the slave relay and it'll turn over but haven't got it to start. Tried switching the ignition switches nothing. The only other thing i can think of is the neutral switch or a shorted wires. Any help would be appreciated.
thanks

Re: crusader 350 no start

Have you checked the reset button? ( red button in a blue box near the coil. Remember you have a working example close by. Check for voltage on both engines, key switches, solenoids. The transmission switch is out of the picture once you have jumped the starter.

finally got around to work on the boat today, swapped carbs. Still won't start and haven't been able to track down why it wont turn at the helm. If I jump the starter it'll turn over i got fuel and spark wont kick even with ether. Checked voltages on both coils and igintion circuit still nothing. Help please
