Never been on one and think of them as petri dishes

Looking into with friends going on Norwegian lines in November. There are several balcony places facing Aft but only so many facing Fwd. Looks like both have King beds and both talk about 2 beds which make a queen. Inside rooms have 2 twins, but I want a king bed

Anyone cruise on these things that has a balcony and do all balcony rooms have kings?

Two twins make a king. On ships that is what you are getting, Hard to move king size beds around those ships.

I have four twins that stack on each other in our master guest room. I keep them as two kings stacked but if needed I can make two king or four twin or...

We have been on a few NCL cruises. We "upgraded" to the basement on one trip when we upgraded to the drink package and went from 7th floor to 4th.

We had a lot of excursions booked, and usually just crashed in the room

If it is piece and quiet that you have in mind, a cruise ship is not what you want. Half the time it feels like a circus with too many people in too small a place and you can't get off.

Exact description of the cruises I had thanks to Uncle Sam and the USN.

Why pay extra to sleep with a windows, at night?
