Crossfire changing spark plugs reconnected wires in wrong sequence

I changed my spark plugs and dist. Cap started the engine with the wires in the wrong sequence. Now dead instrument panel and won't start. Battery still has power. White smoke came out of the arrestor. Not sure what to check next?

If all you did was connect the spark plug wires incorrectly you have nothing to worry about.
The "white smoke" that came out of the arrestor was probably just a back fire due to the wires hooked up wrong.

What you would not have impacted the rest of the electrical system unless you wore the battery down trying to start it.

We'll need to know what motor and serial number to help. If yo don't have a serial number then approximate year.
