Crestliner Snap lock seats

I have the old style snap and lock seats by Swivl-eze
Do I have to grease the seat mount before I mount
the post to the seat with grease or silicone and what
kind of lubricate do I need??

I have one of those with some of those. Cup grease works fine...regular old #2 like is in your grease gun.
