I am new to the forum so if this post is in the wrong place I am sorry but I need some help. I have an 08 fishhawk 1600 with a built in tank and it is not filling properly and I am not sure why. When I try and fill it I get maybe half a gallon into it and the comes back up the fill line and unless I blow all the gas into the tank and let it vent out the fill line I can't get anywhere.
I pulled the back end of the boat apart and the cleared the vent line which was filled with gas and it worked for a little while but last week it stated again. I am wondering if there is a one way valve in the vent somewhere that I don't know about.
I am wondering if there is anyone that can help me I want to use my boat this weekend but gasing it up is a huge pain right now.
