Creaking noise when lowering bravo3

When I lower the drive on my boat I can hear a creaking noise. I only hear it when on the trailer. Any ideas on if this is normal or not? It's a new boat so maybe things need to be broken in?

Not normal. . . It would be good to know where the noise seems to be coming from. Trailer , outdrive, hull, etc.

Creaking when lowering the drive... Probably the end-caps on the trim rams are starting to corrode up. Time to replace them. To verify that, squirt a bit of light oil on them and see if the noise changes/disappears....

Put some grease on the cross pins the trim cylinders are on. They sometimes squeak when dry. The grease also keeps the corrosion down.

I believe this guy bought the boat about 1 month ago. . . Brand new 2013 Bayliner. Kind of hard to believe that problems would be appearing so quickly.

Have you been able to isolate the source of the noise any further? Aren't boats fun?

Any luck on finding the problem?? I had to call the dealer multiple times about my NEW boat, that I later found out never had a Pre Delivery Prep...
