Love this forum, glad I found it.<br /><br />Am rebuilding 1990 90hp A Model after losing a piston ring land. Noticed that crank throws are beginning to mark the case. Like the crank is resting on it.<br /><br />Question, How is this crank held in the verticle position??? Am replacing all bearings including upper thrust, but none appear to hold the crank vertically. What am I missing???<br /><br />First thing I did was purchase the manual and search archive, but none addressed.<br /><br />Thanks...........Jim
