crank-up pontoon trailer blueprints

I am looking for plans or blueprints for a sissor or crank-up style pontoon boat trailer. My 12th. grade metal class wants to take this on as there winter project. I have been all over the web and have had no luck.

Part of that project could be to take a ruler and tape and visit a dealer. Measure it up and draw the plans yourself or have the mechanical drafting class do the plans. The dealer may actually loan you a trailer since it would be a community service tax deduction on his part.

Go to a rental yard and see if they will let you take a look at a scissor lift. I would image that you are just making a scissor lift on its side.

All of my pics have a boat on it, and so it is hard to see the trailer. I will be out to where it is stored on Monday, so if you still need pictures at that point I will take a bunch.
