iBoats Forum Members,

Hello. If you are familiar with Craigslist and using the following global (nationwide) command, you have probably noticed or experienced pathetic trolls attempting to collect telephone numbers by posting the same ad in multiple cities.

Example: from your Chrome/Google browser
subject=regal 2700
regal 2700 site:craigslist.org

Other than being the scum of mankind trying to build a personal profile to scam someone out of cash, what is the point?

If you know anyone in sales shot-gunning CL ads across the country, with rarely a description, please explain why anyone would waste our time & their time.

is this actually a question.

data trolls are out there regardless of the platform

try selling a boat/truck/car/TV/etc on any platform. you will get trolls on ebay, CL, boat trader/cars.com, carsoup, etc.

then on facetube, every one of those memes that say remember when, tell me what you did, etc. click-bait adds are there to collect information on you to hack your data.

the world is full of bored programmers that make more money selling peoples identity information than they do legitimate code writing.

I gave up selling on CL. I put my Tacoma in truck trader and paid for the 'list until sell'. First person to contact me was a serious buyer and bought the truck.
I'll use the forums that pertain that allow, boat trader and so on.
