Last night I was out fishing and hit the wrong log to say the least. It's toasted. I'm already in the process of finding a new lower unit but have some questions. My motor is a 1978 35hp Johnny shortshaft but does anyone know what the years that overlap and could work with my motor? For example I think I've heard that 76-78' were all compatible but I'm not sure on that. I could really use the help if anyone can tell me for sure. Also if anyone has one or knows someone with one for sale please point me in the right direction. I have cash in hand. Any and all help is appreciated!
