crack in carb, need advice

motor is a '66 merc 500

carbs apart for rebuilding, discovered this crack.

What can be done about this?

Find a replacement carb, almost any mercury carb used on the 4 > 135 hp ( up to 1971 ? ) uses the same part ( 1399-1133 NLA, fuel bowl cover ).


You might already have the part inhouse .
