CPS Bad ?? 02 Mercury 90 Fourstroke

I have an 02 Merc 90 elpt fourstroke ser. # OT449291. It is not firing on cylinders 2 and3. I traced this problem I thought to the cps. I checked the voltage with my meter and dva adapter and found that the cps for cylinders 1 and 4 was putting out the proper voltage. I then checked the cps for 2and 3 and got no voltage.I thought well there is the problem.So I replaced the cps assembly with a known used good one and got the same result. I then took the good sensor off the bad assembly and replaced the bad one on the other assembly so I had what I knew were two good sensors and still no voltage out of the cyl 2 and 3 cps. Now i'm stumped. Any ideas??

Pull the plugs and swap the imputs to coils, if coil thats not firing starts firing you have a bad CPS or ECU. If it still wont fire omh test the coil against the working one...
