Cowling Decals

I'm looking to replace the Decals on the Cowling for my '74 Merc 500.

I know that these decals are no longer available thru mercury.

I am planning to either go to a decal shop or repaint the cowling. I was just wondering if anyone has tried either of these methods and how it turned out.

If you can't find OEM decals, or want to pay the price if you do, a good sign shop can easily duplicate what you have. The new programs and plotters a good shop would have are amazing

check this place out..they use the saem material as the merc manufactures.
