ok, we just bought our first boat. a 2005 24' starcraft pontoon with a 2006 135 optimax. after the first weekend of use i put on the snap on cover that came with the boat, and left it at the dock untill the next weekend. and when i took the cover off the top of the front corners and the back edge of the sun deck looked as though the vinyl was burned. they are white seats, and the spots where brown with cracks in the center. now i don't know alot, but i thought the cover was supposed to protect the seats. and i'm not sure if the places it made are from heat or from the movement of the boat on the water rubbing against the cover. anyone had this happen before? any ideas would be greatly appreciated, because right now i am scared to put the cover back on. thanks.
