Greetings, I'm not a sailer like the rest of you guys, but I was hoping someone can answer a quick quiestion about a 10' livingston I have recently purchased. This will be a bass boat for me, possibly some large rivers on a nice day.

The Dinghy I bought is a 10' livingston. It came with the Davits for mounting it on a swim platform as well as a transom with a hinge on it to keep a 4 stroke motor upright when mounted on it's side. Is this transome something I can use when putting around the lake or the edges of the big rivers.

Could I sell this stuff for a few bucks?

The only exaple I found was a a simular system with a power wench that cost around $5000. My luck has never been good enough to accidently land something worth that much. I'd really appreciate any help you can get me.

Not sure you've walked into a "lottery find" here either. The drawback to those systems is not too many of them around as they're specific to boat & dinghy. The expensive parts are the davits themselves that mount to the boat that the dinghy is getting stored aboard. If you got those in the deal, you might get a few hundred for them on "evilbay". When you say a "transome", maybe you should post a pic and get a little more specific. A transom is the portion of any boat at the stern designed to support a motor. Are you talking about a swing down bracket? If so, depending on condition/make/model/etc. those could bring as much as $100.00 to someone in the market.

I do have the Davits on the dinghy and the ones that hook to the yacht. I'll post pictures a bit later but not a swing down bracket.
