Cost for repacking wheel bearings?

I may not have time to repack my trailer wheel bearings myself and wondered what the average cost is (one axle). Around here if you are not familiar with what a cost should be it can get expensive!<br /><br />Thanks.

If you do not need any parts and considering mechanics get between 40-60 per hour on labor I can't imagine it taking more that 1 to 1-1/2 for the axel. That would be to remove, clean, inspect and re-pack both wheels. It is normally easier to get new bearings depenant upon the age and condition and start from new.<br /><br />Bob
