My motor has some corrosion on the side of one of the cylinders, and a little on the exhaust. Is this something to be worried about? I also have found two hoses that both have clamps on them but seem to go attach to nowhere. one goes to a vent under the seat, and the other one looks like it goes into the multi-meter gauge.

Re: corrosion

those are vents. The describe the corrosion in more detail, is it inside the cylinder?

Re: corrosion

so those tubes should just be hanging around in there its not a problem?

Well, the corrosion is on the outside of the block and it made some of the paint chip off of the block. there is also some where the exhaust goes from the metal pipe to the rubber hose.

No, they go somewhere (I can't remember where) But their purpose is to vent.

For the corrosion, just brush it off and paint it if you really need to, Make sure you have no leaks around the exhaust.

Re: corrosion

add a zinc anode to your ride plate on the inside surface and hope you don't spring a water jacket leak , corrosion can eat through the jacket, and devour the impeller if it is the stock aluminum one look on pwc weekly I posted a picture of a stock impeller from a 93 wave runner
