I'm sure this has been asked dozens of times on this board, but I have heard so many different opinions from friends and neighbors. So how much pressure should I inflate my trailer tires? My boat is 2500# dry and the tires have a max cold tire pressure of 50#. And while we are at it, what is cold? Minnesota cold was -30 degrees (without windchill), in Seattle cold is 40 degrees.

These are things I have always wondered about.

Re: Correct Tire Pressure

Cold means standing pressure, Shaded.
Warm pressure is after ten miles.
I go two to five pounds under max depending on time of year and check the pressure once a month.
